At Holmenkollen there are Norways 6th largest downhill skiarea, Oslo Vinterpark,Tryvann and lots of biking tracks and cross country tracks in the Marka Forest.

Holmenkollen Ski Jump arena is  Norway´s most visited tourist attractions: The Holmenkollen Ski Jump, wich comprises the Ski Jump Tower with its spectacular views, the worlds oldest ski museum and a ski simulator where you can feel for yourself what it´s like to jump at Holmenkollen.

There are also gift and sovernir shops, the Hoppcafè with its special Kollen-cake and a pleasant public area with outdoor service. Guides can be booked. The information in the Ski Museum is in Norwegian and English.

How to get there:From the city centre, it takes only 20 minutes to get to Holmenkollenarea by car.
From Ring Road 3, exit at Smestad and follow the signposts to Holmenkollen. From the city centre, there are signposts from Majorstua to Holmenkollen.

The underground train nr.1 Holmenkollbanen, goes from the centre of Oslo and has three stops in Destination Holmenkollen: Holmenkollen, Voksenåsen and Frognerseteren.
